Questions

What can it access?
Only what we decide to connect together in the first phase: typically mail, calendar, files, chats including WhatsApp, and the servers and tools you name, each with the narrowest permissions that do the job.
It never sends anything in your name without approval, never pretends to be you (when it speaks, it signs as itself), and never touches passwords, keys, or other secrets. Every action it takes is logged.
On hardware you own: a home lab, a company server, or a private machine you control. Model calls go to the provider you choose, or to a local model if you want nothing to leave the building.
Hermes if data has to stay on hardware you own, or you want to choose the model and keep everything open source. It’s a heavier setup, and that’s the part we take on. Grok Bot if you want the fastest, most convenient start with xAI’s managed agent, and you’re comfortable with xAI hosting the work. Not sure? We’ll recommend one once we understand how you work, and we’ll tell you if neither will save you time.
It keeps running, on your machines. The configuration, routines, and documentation are yours. We hand everything over, remove our access, and you carry on, with or without us.
Understanding and reimagining how you work comes first, then wiring, then a few weeks of tuning alongside you until delegating is the default. We scope the exact timeline after that first phase, based on your hardware and how many accounts and systems are involved. Expect Hermes to take longer to stand up than Grok Bot: hosting, models, and security are part of the job.
